Joe began his career in the hair industry in 1963 as a graduate of barbering school in Boston. Over forty years and 15,000 clients later, Joe has become an award-winning stylist and a respected expert in the field of hair restoration. Joe’s personal and caring approach to his profession has earned him a golden reputation which can include many entertainers, media personalities, athletes, and politicians among his vast list of satisfied clients. In 2002 he was awarded ATV Maritimer of the Week for his work with cancer patients. Also he was awarded the Queens Golden Jubilee Medal for his community work.

Dr. Wadden received his M.D. in 1991 from Dalhousie University Medical School. His medical experience includes family practice, emergency medicine, obstetrics, and a career as a company physician in the aerospace industry.

Since 1996, Dr. Wadden has performed hair transplantation, and to date has conducted over 1500 procedures. Hair restoration procedures require medical knowledge, skillful attention to detail, and a true sense of artistry. Dr. Wadden hones all of these skills during his participation in the World Association of Hair Restorative Surgeons workshops in association with the American Academy of Aesthetic HairRestorative Surgery and with the International Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

Dr. Wadden employs only the most advanced techniques in hair restoration today, including follicular unit transplantation, which assure outcomes of the highest functionality and superior aesthetic standards.

He is Certified by The International Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (IBHRS/ABHRS); the largest worldwide entity to have established standards in education & training and award certification in Hair Restoration Surgery.
